Sacred Heart Parish does not have a Food Pantry of its own.
People who in need of food are referred to the community’s Food Pantry at 132 So. 4th St.
A ministry that can help parents and families that have lost a child through miscarriage.

Meals on Wheels is a community program operating out of the Norfolk Senior Center.
A fund-raiser for Norfolk Catholic School. It is held every year in late March/early April.

Natural Family Planning is family planning using a natural method for achieving or avoiding pregnancy.
Johnna Miller is the current instructor for Natural Family Planning in our parish.
The Parish Quilters gather weekly on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am at the Annex to quilt.
Contact Pat Beiriger if you are interested in joining the quilting group.
The quilts they put together are raffled off at the Parish Festival in September and at the Altar Society Brunch in November.
Clean-up days are scheduled once a year...usually in the Spring.

The Norfolk Area Serra Club meets the SECOND Thursday of the month at Sacred Heart Parish Center, 2301 W. Madison Ave., Norfolk. Mass begins at 7:00 pm., followed by a meeting at 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
We make prayer shawls for parishioners in need.

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month at Immaculata Monastery, 300 No. 18th St.
An excellent way to get involved in parish events is to provide baked goods to any event held at the parish.
To get on this list, you may call the individual event chairman’s or contact the Parish Office and be put on the master list.
Giving a parishioner or non-driving person an occasional ride to Mass on Saturday evening or Sunday morning is a form of stewardship that will repay you in heavenly dividends.

This group provides limited financial assistance to the poor and needy in our Norfolk area.
St. Vincent de Paul meets from 1:30-3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday every week.
