Daily HS Announcements - Thursday, January 10, 2019

Prayer:  God our Father, through Jesus, our brother and friend, you have shown us great tenderness and affection.  Help us to understand his generous sacrifice and help us to love like that! We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.  AMEN.

1.  Tomorrow will be our regular monthly Jeans Day!

2.  Jr. High boys basketball at home today vs. Guardian Angels C.C. starting at 6:15 p.m.

3.  Varsity wrestling at Creighton tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m.

4.  Tomorrow is the deadline for the February ACT.

5.  Knights for Life is meeting today.  Members will be able to leave study hall at 11:55 a.m. to get hot lunch and bring it to Mr. Manzer's room for the 12:05 p.m. meeting.  You will be learning about pro-life apologetics from Justice for All.
    
6.  The Health Careers Club will meet on Wednesday, January 16th from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Faith Regional EAST Campus (1500 Koenigstein Avenue).  The topic this month is physical therapy and related careers. For more information, see the flyers outside Mr. Sok’s and Mrs. Headley’s rooms.

7.  Senior pictures are due to the yearbook staff by Monday, January 14th.  Please give to a yearbook member, Mrs. Hampl, or have your photographer email it to Mrs. Hampl at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

8.  An all-school picture will be taken next Monday, January 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the activities center.  We would like to have all Juniors and Seniors wear white polo shirts and all other grades wear red polos.  Staff can wear either as we want to include everyone in the picture. The plan is to have a red heart with a white cross in the middle.  

9.  Parent’s Night for girls basketball will be this Friday night between the J.V. & varsity games with Wayne.

10. The Jr. High boys basketball games with Columbus Scotus next Tuesday, January 15th will be played at Columbus and not at home as previously planned.  The start time has been moved up to 4:30 p.m.
