Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
St. Mary's Church
every day 24/7
Sacred Heart Parish has embarked on a wonderful journey of Perpetual Adoration, with participants praying around the clock before the Blessed
Sacrament. Anyone can join the Adoration Team in the following ways:
Be a part of the Perpetual Adoration Schedule –
Perpetual Adoration is scheduled at St. Mary’s Church 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Eucharist is exposed for Adoration at all times other than Mass. We strive to have two people praying for each hour of the schedule and ask them to commit to their hour weekly. Substitutes and rotating schedules are available as well. Adorers may use the Day Chapel behind the altar or St. Joseph’s Adoration Chapel during the day, and St. Joseph’s chapel is available by secure access during the night hours. For more information on Perpetual Adoration, see the Questions and Answers link below.
Please sign in during your holy hour, the Notebook is located in the St. Joseph’s Adoration Chapel.
Adore on your own –
You may also choose to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament on your own at either St. Mary’s or Sacred Heart Church. Both churches are open during the daytime hours for your use. Consider being a substitute for our Perpetual Adorers if your schedule allows. The sign in notebook for Sacred Heart Church is located by the South Entrance in the vestibule.
We are making steady progress in gaining adorers for all hours for perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at Sacred Heart Parish (St. Mary's Church). HOURS OF ADORATION
Imagine yourself in the arms of Jesus. Imagine talking to Jesus one on one.
Imagine Jesus listening to your troubles, your heartaches, your worries, your hopes for the future.
Imagine all of this for one quiet hour--without the cell phone ringing, without the kids interrupting, without the craziness of TV--(news of politics, or the same old comments on politics, the horrors of war, the devastation of hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, burglaries, murders, and more).
Imagine the peace!
TRANSFORM OUR PARISH THROUGH EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament transforms our hearts and parishes because it allows us to be with Jesus. Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist and so the Eucharist is life for us.
In order to have Jesus in the Eucharist, we must have priests to offer the Mass; not just from our Archdiocese, but from our Parish. What better way to pray for vocations than to spend time with our Lord, the Great High Priest, and ask for more priests.
