Food Pantry

Sacred Heart Parish does not have a Food Pantry of its own.

People who in need of food are referred to the community’s Food Pantry at 132 So. 4th St.

Their hours are 9:30—11:30 am.
Phone number is 402-371-2591.

Donation of canned or non-perishable foods are always welcome.

Sacred Heart Parish is in charge of the distribution of foods once a year, usually in December.

To volunteer to help, please contact Elaine Moschenross at 402-371-7636

Brown paper grocery sacks will be distributed
at all Masses usually on the last Sunday in November in preparation for our annual Food Drive.
Please collect any of the following items:
canned fruit, canned vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, tuna,
jello, fruit juices, pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni & cheese,
syrup, pancake mix, boxed dinners, macaroni & cheese,
canned pasta, ravioli, spaghettios, lasagna, etc,
chicken, tuna or beef helpers, cereal,
Kleenex, bathroom tissue, paper products, personal items,
liquid dish soap, laundry soap, bath soap, etc.

Put the items in your grocery sack & bring to Mass on the weekend of the 1st Sunday of December. Sacred Heart Parish is responsible for providing food and staffing for the Community Food Pantry during the month of December. We have the opportunity to help many families with food we collect.
The Food Pantry is at the same location as in previous years.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
