Norfolk Catholic School offers instruction for Pre-K through 12th Grade and operates under the auspices of Sacred Heart Parish within the Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska.
The Elementary and High School buildings are located on one central campus on West Madison Avenue. Norfolk Catholic School was established in 1926 initially offering only Grades 1 through 8 and eventually expanded to serve the growing educational and spiritual needs of the parish. Today, Norfolk Catholic School serves a student population of approximately 600. The school’s mission is to enable students to live their Catholic Faith and to achieve academic success. The school community is an integral part of the Catholic Church’s mission to proclaim the gospel, build faith communities, offer service to others and the celebrate through worship. The school’s Catholic identity is strengthened by an integrated curriculum rooted in Gospel values and teachings. A positive school climate is established through the creation of a Christian environment that actively involves students, teacher, parents and community members in recognizing and respecting individual differences.
