Prayer: Lord God, we can rest and sleep in perfect peace, knowing that no matter what difficulties we face, you will sustain us in every moment.  Help us to grow strong and live in your peace.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  AMEN.

  1. Hot dog feed will be today. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. in the parish center, sportsmanship talk will start at 6:30 p.m. our speaker, Darin Boysen will start at approximately 7:00 p.m. on the parent and student relationship for activities. 
  1. There will be a football parent meeting after the sportsmanship talk today in the AC.
  1. Friday will be a Mission Jeans day for Diane Synovec (Elementary Kitchen Staff) for medical expenses. Students and staff may wear jeans tomorrow if you bring at least $1.00. 
  1. Football scrimmage Friday, August 21st at 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Field. Fans are asked to bring one or more bottles of gatorade to be used by the team this season. 
  1. After school study hall will start on Monday 8/24. Parents are asked to check their students' grades over the weekend during the school year. Grade reports will be printed at 8 am on Monday mornings. 
  1. JH Show Choir Sign-ups are outside Mr. V's door, anyone in grades 7th-8th are able to sign up
  1. Any 9-12th grade student interested in mock trial should sign up in Miss Lingenfelter's classroom. There will be an informational meeting held this Thursday in Miss Lingenfelter's classroom after school.
  1. all Juniors should talk to Miss Van Fleet to get signed up for the Google Classroom or join with the code f25ldwdr. This is how they will sign up for times to set up for homecoming.
  1. Reminder to go out and sell “Knight Cards”!! Each student is asked to sell at least 2 cards.  For every 10 cards that a student sells, that student will receive a $10 Pizza Ranch Fun Zone arcade game card. All Knight Card sales need to be turned in no later than Monday, August 31st.

  1. NC family is in need of someone to give a 6th grader a ride home every day from school. This person will be paid for their help.  See the office for more information.
