Prayer: Lord God, help us to learn to bear the fruits of love and generosity so that we may bring them to you on the day of harvest.  We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  AMEN.

  1. Congratulations to the boys cross country team on  placing 2nd on Friday. Individual boy winners - Andrew Kastl placed 4th, Teddy Haake placed 5th, Dominic Kastl placed 11th. The girls placed 3rd and individual girl winners were - Mayla Sukup placed 2nd, Ashley Mendez placed 14th, Kya Jansen placed 15th.  
  1. Softball was conference runner-up at the HAC tournament on Friday - beating Standing Bear 5-2, Lincoln North Star 1-0, and losing in the championship 8-0 to Lincoln Southwest.
  1. The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams won the Wisner-Pilger Volleyball tournaments this weekend.
  1. The varsity volleyball team went 1-2 at the Columbus Classic this weekend to play 4th - we won over Ord and lost to Malcolm in 3 sets and to Columbus Lakeview in 3 sets.
  1. Congratulations to Cael Puntney and Mayla Sukup on being crowned Homecoming King & Queen!
  1. Volleyball at Battle Creek, schedule is as follows: 7B at 3:45 for 2 sets, followed by 7A, then 8th grade. The reserves will start at 6:00 p.m. with JV to follow.
  1. JV football at Pierce today at 5:00 p.m.

  1. There will be an FBLA meeting this Friday during 5th lunch ONLY. Grab your lunch quickly and meet in 218. All members are required to attend. See Mrs. Hampl for questions.
  1. Flu shots will be available Monday, October 12th from 3:00pm-7:00pm in the Elementary Commons.
  1. Students have the opportunity to sell Spirit raffle tickets. Tickets can be picked up in the office. Students who sell 10 or more raffle tickets will receive a $10 GC. The student/family who sells the most raffle tickets will win a great prize! Raffle ticket order forms & money must be turned into office by Thursday, October 15!
  1.   1. The 7th grade football team won 14-0 over Wayne last night. The 8th grade team lost 22-12.
  1. The softball teams won over Lincoln Standing Bear yesterday - Varsity won 7-1 and Junior Varsity won 8-0.
  1. The girls varsity and jv teams won in 2 sets each over Elgin Public / Pope John and Cedar Catholic last night.
  1. High school football polo’s are in. Players can pick them up in the office, the cost is $30.
  1. $15 for locker magnets is due to the office. Please take care of this ASAP.
  1. NEW THIS YEAR! The Music Boosters will be sponsoring the RedZone's "King and Queen of the Castle" at home events! This will be awarded to an individual who goes above and beyond for sportsmanship at home events and will be picked by cheerleaders, game supervisors, and or redzone sponsors. Last night's "King and Queen of the Castle" is EVAN BALSINGER and ELLA GLENN! You can stop in the Band room to grab a coupon for a concessions stand treat! CONGRATULATIONS to our FIRST REDZONE ROYALTY!  
  1. Powder puff shirts can be picked up in the band room. Please make sure Mrs. Hahn is present when you take them.                                                                                                                                                  
  1. Picture retakes will take place Friday, September 18th. 
  1. Friday September 18th will be a mission jeans day for Tanya Gallagher for medical expenses due to cancer treatment.
  1. Sept 25th will be a 1pm dismissal. We will have a Spirit Jeans day to coincide with the quick turn of events. 
  1.
