Daily HS Announcements - Friday, August 28, 2026

Prayer: God, our Savior, you have given us many gifts.  Help us to see them well and bear much fruit for your kingdom.  Grant this through Christ our Lord.  AMEN.

1. Congratulations to the varsity boys and girls cross-country teams on placing 1st at the Hartington invite. NC boys medalists - Theodore Haake placed 1st, Andrew Kastl was 5th, Domini Kastl was 7th. Girl medalists- Mayla Sukup placed 1st, Mercy Kann 2nd, Ashley Mendez 6th and Kya Janssen 10th. The Junior High boys team placed 2nd with Leo Haake and Natalie Linnaus both placing 4th.

2. Varsity football vs Loganview tonight starting at 7:00 pm at memorial field. 

3. Locker Magnet sign up will shut down today at 4:00. Please pay your $15 to your respective person no later than Wednesday 9/2. Please see Mrs. Hahn for questions.

4. We are excited to host the 2026-27 home activities and events. For safety reasons, only authorized personnel may be in the playing area. No fans, photographers, etc. are allowed on the field or playing floor during competition unless they have been issued an NSAA pass or an approved NCHS pass from our Activities Director.

5. Mr. Kassmeier is needing help from an adult volunteer to be a line judge for our home volleyball games starting on Sept 1st for JV and Varsity games. Please contact me if you are interested in helping out.

6. Reminder to go out and sell “Knight Cards”!! Each student is asked to sell at least 2 cards. For every 10 cards that a student sells, that student will receive a $10 Pizza Ranch Fun Zone arcade game card. All Knight Card sales need to be turned in no later than 8/31. Any unsold cards can be turned into the office

7. PEO Scholarships are due September 2nd at 8:00 am in the counselor office.

8. St. Gregory feast day is Sep t 3rd. Those in that house may wear their shirts on this day with uniform bottoms.
