Daily HS Announcements - Thursday, September 24, 2026

Prayer: Heavenly Father, at Baptism, we also passed through water.  We also were saved from death!  May we always be confident of your care.  We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.  AMEN.

1. Congratulations to the following seniors on being selected as Homecoming King & Queen candidates:  Evan Balsiger, Bo Bomar, Will Brockhaus, Jackson Gubbels, Cael Puntney, Jacie Arens, Nora Baumert, Kennedy Clausen, Ella Glenn, Mayla Sukup. 

2. The Norfolk softball teams lost to Papillion La Vista: Varsity 11-3 and JV 12-0. 

3. Girls golf at Wayne and Cross country at Crofton have been canceled for today.

4. Volleyball triangular at Pender. The schedule of games is as follows:

-5:30-Pender vs Norfolk Catholic

-6:30-Howells Dodge vs Norfolk Catholic

-7:30-Pender vs Howells Dodge

5. Tomorrow will be a Spirit jeans day with the 1:00 p.m. dismissal.

6. Students are reminded that cell phones are not allowed to be used during school hours except lunch. If parents need to get a hold of their student, they can call the office. This includes passing periods, phones should be powered off and in your locker.  

7. Parents are asked to check their students' lunch balance. You can check balances on Sycamore or call the school office.

8. Dress-Up Days for Homecoming next week will be as follows:

-Monday  -  Dress up as your age (JH/Fresh as babies, Sophomores as kids, Juniors as teens, Seniors as elders)

-Tuesday  -  Adam Sandler/ Anything but a water bottle day (must be school appropriate)

-Wednesday  -  Halloween Costume 

-Thursday  -  Jammies/ Pajamas

-Friday  -  Spirit Jeans Day                                                                                                                      

9. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for outside dates for Homecoming. There is a $10 fee for outside dates that needs to be paid to the office. Sign up sheet will be picked up September 29th at 3:25pm. Please pay $10 when you sign up your date. Dates must be 19 years and under                     

10. There is a Homecoming song request list in the office. Please keep in mind that even though a song is clean, it does not necessarily mean it is appropriate. All songs will be screened before Homecoming. This sheet will be picked up at 3:25pm on September 29th.

11. Students have the opportunity to sell Spirit raffle tickets. Tickets can be picked up in the office. Students who sell 10 or more raffle tickets will receive a $10 GC. The student/family who sells the most raffle tickets will win a great prize! Raffle ticket order forms & money must be turned into office by Thursday, October 15!

12.
